My name is Michael and I created this blog to teach people about how cool weather is. Weather may just seem like some thing that happens. It rains, it’s sunny, it’s cold, there’s a hurricane. It is just this boring, nerdy, sciency thing and it certainly can be. However, I firmly believe that the more you understand something it allows you to see the world in brighter and richer colors. It is less scary, less boring, and can even be, dare I say, cool. I have been passionate about weather since I was a little kid and have even chased storms with my dad from the age of 12 seeing over 70 tornadoes. Today, I am a photographer spending most of my time hiking in the mountains. However, when my wife and I moved to Colorado from Seattle it reinvigorated my love for weather. As the internet becomes increasingly challenging to navigate I wanted to bring a personal touch to informing people about the weather. Honest, factual, and interesting weather information to help you make sense of this complex natural world we live in.
